Rounding off the week, Friday’s episode will draw all the drama together, culminating in fireworks illuminating the night sky to mark Swarla’s nuptials, alongside Betsy’s shocking discovery of a body belonging to one of Weatherfield’s residents. Here’s a rundown of each episode and spoilers for next week.., reports the Daily Star.
Monday – Theo’s episode
Todd Grimshaw is horrified when Theo turns up at the shop flat with his bags packed ready for Thailand. Fortunately, George Shuttleworth arrives just in time and the pair manage to overpower Theo and make their getaway from the flat. Soon after, Todd and George tip off DC Kit Green about Theo, but he’s nowhere to be seen at the flat. Desperate to get away, Todd jumps into a cab headed for the airport, only to realise he’s forgotten his phone, forcing him to stop and go back for it.
However, as he makes his way back down the street, he comes face-to-face with Theo, who is clutching the phone. Just how far will Todd have to go to break free from the clutches of the menacing Theo for good?
Tuesday – Carl’s episode
Debbie Webster confesses to Ronnie Bailey and Kevin Webster that she paid Carl off to leave. Despite this, Carl tries to tie up some loose ends before disappearing and ends up stirring up further chaos as he manages to get under the skin of Abi Webster, Tyrone Dobbs, Theo and Kevin.
Seething after receiving a message from Kevin, Carl covertly tampers with the brakes on Kevin’s car in the garage. Will he be caught out and what will be the consequences of his latest vindictive act?
Wednesday – Jodie’s episode
Jodie is preparing to leave Weatherfield but when she hears Shona Platt screaming she dashes outside to find her sister being confronted by two men. Realising they have come for her, she decides to hand over the hard drive. Witnessing how distressed she is, Shona begs her to stay, but when Jodie discovers proof that Shona lied about never receiving her letter, she is hell-bent on revenge.
An unsuspecting David Platt becomes an unintended victim as she makes a bold move to try and end their marriage. Later, finding herself out on the street, Jodie disappears into the night, unaware that she is being watched.
In the precinct, Jodie settles on the swings, furious with herself for ruining everything. When a stranger approaches, she is caught off guard – has her past or recent actions finally caught up with her?
Thursday – Maggie and Megan’s episode
Eva Price, Leanne Battersby and Toyah Battersby drag Megan into the salon flat and try to force her into confessing her wrongdoings, but she refuses and winds them up, sparking yet another confrontation. During the scuffle, Megan ends up taking a punch to the nose.
Later, Megan plays the victim in a bid to win sympathy from Daniel Osbourne, but he isn’t fooled. After being thrown out into the ginnel, she eavesdrops on Maggie and Melanie’s conversation and captures some incriminating information about Maggie’s husband’s death on her phone.
Upon realising she has been recorded, Maggie tracks her down and challenges Megan over the recording, but when Megan drops a bombshell of her own, Maggie loses her temper. Could the bitter rivalry between the two leave one of them falling to their death?
