A spectacular assembly of over 1,800 artifacts from film and television is poised to be unveiled to eager bidders, boasting items from cinematic milestones like Indiana Jones, James Bond, and A Nightmare on Elm Street.
Originating from Daniels’ own collection, the illuminating, screen-verified C-3PO head is undoubtedly a standout piece from the 1977 iconic film. Additionally, the legendary bullwhip, synonymous with Indiana Jones, will be up for grabs, with projections estimating a £200,000 sale.
Fans got a sneak peek at Anthony Daniels, alongside a third-draft script from ‘Star Wars: A New Hope’ (anticipated £10,000 – 20,000) during a preview of the dazzling array of showbiz artifacts, held at the Propstore in Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire, on Wednesday, September 20, 2023.
A Propstore worker displayed a Harrison Ford-signed bullwhip from ‘Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom’ (1984) during the preview, which is also included in the auction with an estimate of £100,000 – 200,000.
Additional highlights include Freddy Krueger’s primary glove, donned by Robert Englund in A Nightmare On Elm Street, which is projected to yield between £200,000 and £400,000, and Leonardo DiCaprio’s portrayal of Jack Dawson in Titanic (1997) brings his costume to the block, predicted to garner £100,000 to £200,000.
Furthermore, Chris Evans’ shield from his 2011 role as Captain America in ‘Captain America: The First Avenger’ is also set to go under the hammer, anticipated to attract between £50,000 and £100,000.
