Detectives are “increasingly concerned” for David Pennington’s welfare
A 75-year-old man with dementia has gone missing from Warrington. David Alen Pennington was reported missing at 1.50pm today, Saturday April 18, and was last caught on CCTV walking along Liverpool Road in Great Sankey at around 3pm.
The pensioner, who lives in the Great Sankey area, suffers from dementia, meaning that he can often become confused, Cheshire Police said.
David is described as white, around 5ft 7in tall, of slim build and bald. He was last seen wearing a dark navy or black zip-up jacket, navy blue jeans, black trainers, a blue cap and glasses.
Police officers are urging anyone who sees him or has any information regarding his whereabouts to come forward.
Inspector Jimmy Walker said: “There are several officers out searching for David and we are increasingly concerned for his welfare.
“Anyone who thinks that they may have seen him or has any information in relation to his whereabouts is urged to get in touch.
“I would also ask residents living in the area to check any sheds or outbuildings in case David has taken shelter.”
Anyone with information or footage that may help officers find David is asked to call Cheshire Constabulary immediately on 101, quoting IML 2311194. Information can also be passed on online at www.cheshire.police.uk/tell-us.
