JEDDAH, April 25 : Saudi Arabia’s Al Ahli beat Japan’s Machida Zelvia 1-0 in the Asian Champions League final at King Abdullah Sports City Stadium on Saturday to win the continent’s premier club title for the second straight year.
Feras Al-Brikan’s goal six minutes into extra time saw the Jeddah-based club become the first team to retain the title since city rivals Al-Ittihad achieved the feat in 2005.
