An American teacher has been sacked after posting a video in which she appeared to say she was disappointed that Donald Trump survived his assassination attempt on Saturday.Corinne Baum, a teacher for pre-school provider BrightPath, posted a clip on TikTok captioned: “Waking up to the news but not THAT news”.In the video, she said: “Man, there’s been a few creators on here saying that like Friday or yesterday could have been the day and then I wake up to that news, but not that news.”We’re going to have to pay really close attention to what they’re trying to actually distract us from.”
