A cannabis farm with over 120 plants was found by police
Three men have been arrested after police carried out raids at several properties across Wirral. Officers from the North West Regional Organised Crime Unit, supported by Merseyside Police, executed warrants at five addresses on Wednesday, March 11.
Two men, aged 34 and 41, both Albanian nationals currently living in the UK, were arrested on suspicion of producing cannabis. A 45-year-old man from Heswall was also arrested on suspicion of producing cannabis and money laundering offences.
During the searches, officers recovered several mobile phones, which have been seized for forensic examination.
Police also discovered a cannabis farm containing more than 120 plants. Around £10,000 in cash was seized from a safe inside one of the properties.
In a separate storage unit, officers located hydroponic growing equipment, which was also confiscated.
All three men were taken to a local police station for questioning and were later released under investigation.
