The search for German backpacker Carolina Wilga, who went missing in a remote part of Western Australia at the end of June, has broadened out across the country. The 26-year-old has not been seen or heard from since she visited a general store in the small town of Beacon, in WA’s north-east wheatbelt region, on 29 June. WA police have said she could have travelled a long way since then – across WA, to the eastern states, or up north. “All jurisdictions are aware. There are alerts on her vehicle, and we are considering information from any state or territory,”
