‘WSJ should be ashamed!’ MAGA world fumes over salacious Trump report

MAGA world melted down Thursday after the Wall Street Journal published a bombshell report detailing ties between President Donald Trump and Jeffrey Epstein. WSJ reported that Trump sent Epstein a “bawdy” letter for his 50th birthday. The letter contained an “outline of a naked woman, which appears to be hand-drawn with a heavy marker” and a made-up conversation between the two men where Trump admits he and Epstein “have certain things in common,” according to the report. It was released at a time when the Trump administration sought to distance itself from the Epstein story altogether. Trump has reportedly called MAGA influencers personally to ask them to stop talking about the story. He’s also attacked supporters who care about the Epstein story as “weaklings.”MAGA loyalists shared their thoughts about the report on social media. “Forgive my language but this story is complete and utter bull—-,” Vice President JD Vance posted on X. “The WSJ should be ashamed for publishing it.”Where is this letter? Would you be shocked to learn they never showed it to us before publishing it? Does anyone honestly believe this sounds like Donald Trump?” Vance continued. “The mainstream media clearly thinks the American people are stupid,” Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-NY) posted on X. “This lame hit piece is so circa-2017. This is clearly NOT President @realDonaldTrump and is a sick, made-up hoax meant to weaponize a serious pedophile prosecution against the Left’s arch nemesis.””This is r——-,” wrote MAGA influencer Benny Johnson.”Yeah, the letter sounds bogus,” posted tech billionaire and former Department of Government Efficiency lead Elon Musk. Even Musk’s AI bot Grok was asked to comment about the WSJ report. “No, the writing style doesn’t match Trump’s typical direct, boastful prose filled with superlatives like ‘great’ or ‘tremendous,” Grok replied to a post on X. “This letter’s cryptic, scripted dialogue and poetic phrasing feel atypical, and the hand-drawn element contradicts his denial of ever drawing such images. Likely a fake.”
