Since his departure from CNN, former host Jim Acosta hasn’t been shy about criticizing President Donald Trump in his SubStack column, “The Jim Acosta Show.” Acosta often attacks Trump from a policy standpoint. But in his March 17 column, Acosta’s main focus is Trump’s “whining.””Has there ever been a commander-in-chief more in need of a handkerchief?” Acosta argues. “Overnight, Trump claimed on Truth Social that pardons issued by President Biden just before he left office were not legitimate because they were allegedly signed with an autopen.”READ MORE: ‘Sounds like Putin’: Trump blasted for declaring top news organizations ‘illegal’Trump, Acosta notes, repeatedly paints himself as a victim — and “whines” about unimportant things.”Trump’s whining is getting worse,” Acosta observes. “It was not that long ago when Trump and his supporters were proud practitioners of ‘owning the libs’: ‘Are you tired of the winning,’ they would ask. Frankly, I’m tired of the whining.”Acosta notes specific examples, describing Trump’s Friday, March 14 speech at the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) as nonstop “whining.””More like the DOG — The Department of Grievance,” Acosta writes. “He whined about certain news outlets ‘who literally write 97.6 percent bad about me.’ Trump also complained about Democratic Party attorneys Norm Eisen and Marc Elias. He ranted about former special counsel Jack Smith.”READ MORE: The only ways to fight the Trump regime’s use of fear and intimidation The former CNN host continues, “Don’t forget James Comey, the former FBI director fired by Trump way back in 2017. ‘It was a great honor for me to fire…. a great honor to fire James Comey, a great, great honor,’ Trump said in his DOJ address…. That ‘great honor’ happened eight years ago. It’s still on his mind…. If you’d like to take a trip down memory lane to November 2021, watch my plea to Trump: ‘Stop the Squeal.'”READ MORE: Revealed: Trump halted a clean-up that puts hundreds of thousands at risk for poisoningJim Acosta’s full column is available at this link.
