The former Sydney radio host Alan Jones has been charged with two further counts of assault against a new ninth alleged victim, to now face 26 alleged indecent assault and sexual touching offences. Police on Tuesday said they had laid the additional charges of assault with act of indecency after receiving further legal advice. Jones on Monday had been arrested and charged in relation to offences spanning two decades against an initial eight alleged victims. His lawyer, Chris Murphy, said on Monday Jones denied any misconduct and would assert his innocence in court. More to come …
