A man in his 20s has been arrested on suspicion of a double murder after two men were fatally stabbed in Manchester. The 23-year-old suspect has been detained under the Mental Health Act after being assessed by medical professionals, Greater Manchester Police said on Sunday evening. Police said they were called to Great Southern Street in the Moss Side area of the city at about 5am on Sunday, responding to reports of two people being stabbed.
