Police cordoned off the scene after a car ploughed into the building
A car crashed through a wall of a City of Liverpool College building on Saturday night. The car hit a wall of the building at the junction of Cornwallis Street and Grenville Street South in Liverpool city centre this evening.
Merseyside Police attended the scene and a cordon was in place. Photographs shared with the ECHO show the car, which appears to be an SUV, having gone through the wall. The car sustained damage to its front end and left a hole in the wall, with bricks and rubble piled up nearby.
The area was cordoned off and the car was later removed from the building. The ECHO has contacted Merseyside Police for comment on the incident.
