Demolition of all 249 buildings damaged by the Noto Peninsula Earthquake in and around Asaichi-dori shopping street in Wajima, Ishikawa Prefecture, which is financed by public fund, is likely to be completed by the end of this fiscal year, according to the city government.
The city government has confirmed that owners of all the buildings which were destroyed or seriously damaged by the earthquake and a following large-scale fire have agreed on the demolition work with public fund.
