A schoolgirl was approached by a woman after she finished school. Christ The King High School and Sixth Form on Stamford Road, Southport, issued a safeguarding alert to parents and carers with children at the school after a year 11 girl from the school was approached outside the gates on Stamford Road.
The incident happened at around 4.40pm, when a woman driver tried to persuade the girl to get in the car. She initially drove past the girl before reversing and opening her window to repeatedly as if she wanted a lift, who she was with and where she was going.
When the driver realised the girl was being picked up, “she quickly sped away” according to the school. She has been described as slim, approximately 30 years old with mousey brown hair in a pony tail and a scouse accent. She was driving a red Ford.
