A road was closed this evening after a car crashed into a row of shops. Emergency services were called to King Street in Wallasey at around 7pm on Monday, November 4.
A large cordon was in place from Riversdale Road to Sandon Road while the incident was dealt with. When the ECHO arrived at the scene, a fire engine, several police cars and two Cadent gas vans were in attendance.
A spokesperson for Merseyside Police said officers were called to reports of a crash and no one had suffered major injuries during the incident. A woman who witnessed the crash said her “life flashed before her eyes”.
