Although Vice President Kamala Harris’ 2024 presidential campaign didn’t exist until July 21 — when President Joe Biden ended his reelection campaign and endorsed her — she has had a major fundraising operation that draws on both large and small donors. A pro-Harris nonprofit, according to the New York Times, received around $50 million from former Microsoft CEO Bill Gates, yet the vice president’s campaign also relies on small $20 or $25 donations from supporters.With Election Night 2024 only four days away, Harris and GOP nominee Donald Trump are neck in neck in many national and battleground state polls.
