Rhys Allen absconded from prison on Sunday morning
Police are appealing for the public’s help to find a wanted man who absconded from prison. Rhys Allen was serving an eight-year sentence for aggravated burglary and possession of a firearm when he absconded from HMP Sudbury on Sunday, October 20.
The 30-year-old, who was sentenced in 2017, was last seen at the open prison at around 4.15am. Police have described Allen as white, around 5ft 10ins tall, of slim build, with brown eyes. He has links to Merseyside, Cheshire, Dyfed-Powys, North Wales, Thames Valley, West Midlands, South Yorkshire, Leicestershire, and Northamptonshire areas.
