Trump stated the U.S. possesses “unthinkable” military weaponry that “you don’t even want to know about,” and claimed America could “end this thing in two seconds if you wanted to.” Pérez interpreted Trump’s vague reference as an implicit threat involving nuclear weapons, which have only been used twice in war since 1945.
