These are the faces of 12 criminals from across Merseyside who were locked up this week
A grandad with an Uzi submachine gun in his attic, a hacker who stole more than £70,000 then treated himself to a Jet2 holiday and a church pastor with a perverted “obsession” were among the Merseyside criminals jailed over the past week. Also locked up were the EncroChat drug trafficker “Brutal Whale”, who was arrested on a flight home from Dubai after his crimes were exposed by a bag of crisps, and a drink driver who killed a man then bought two bottles of vodka from a convenience store.
Meanwhile, Liverpool Crown Court heard that a violent racist called an innocent man a paedophile and broke his jaw before being caught in a paedophile hunter sting, while a Lark Lane restaurant owner was unmasked as a serial sexual predator. Here are the faces of 12 defendants from our region who were imprisoned over the last seven days.
