The row was sparked during today’s Prime Minister’s Questions as Nigel Farage and all Reform UK MPs walked out following his grilling of Sir Keir Starmer. The Clacton MP quizzed the Prime Minister on his “Plan B” for tackling illegal migration, but was met with boos and roars from fellow MPs before he even had a chance to speak.Asking Sir Keir about his failure to “smash the gangs”, Mr Farage said: “Smash the gangs, that is what the Prime Minister promised us. Trust me, I will stop the boats from coming.”But 70,000 later and 1,000 in the last week, and too many young men that pose a threat to national security, is it not time to admit smash the gangs has been a total abject failure, along, frankly, with most of his other policies.”Isn’t it now time he told us, as summer approaches, what is plan B?”The Prime Minister hit back at the Reform UK leader, accusing him of having “absolutely no judgment” on illegal migration. After the Reform MPs left the Chamber in protest, Sir Keir swiped at the party again, telling MPs: “I can see Reform have walked out, they’ve obviously realised they’re absolutely snookered!”Speaking to GB News on their frustration with the Prime Minister, Mr Tice declared: “We’re sick of it. It’s the second time in a row the Prime Minister has refused to ask a question.LATEST DEVELOPMENTSReform MPs all WALK OUT of PMQs after Keir Starmer takes aim at Nigel FarageRachel Reeves raids millions of cash ISA savers for £95million in tax, Treasury admitsSuella Braverman swipes at Kemi Badenoch’s ‘stupid personal attack’ in fiery IRGC row”The whole point is, the clue’s in the name, it’s called Prime Minister’s Questions. He has to answer our questions, not the other way around. “And the Speaker, frankly, needs to sort something out because this is becoming a farce.”Questioned by Christopher on whether their walkout was a “stunt” planned to “draw attention” to Reform, Mr Tice was quick to deny the claim. He fumed: “I’ll tell you what it is, it is a very serious demonstration of fury on behalf of tens of millions of British people, that the Prime Minister will not answer a serious question about what his plan B strategy to stop the boats.”Because plan A, smashing the gangs, has just encouraged the gangs. We’ve got more boats, more illegals coming across than before the general election.”His policy has utterly failed, as we predicted it would do, and he’s just trying to sort of deflect and distract. It’s absurd.”Pressed again by Christopher on whether the walkout was planned, Reform UK’s deputy leader made clear: “No. It was just a demonstration of anger on behalf of tens of millions of British voters. “What it will mean is more people will vote for us, hopefully on May 7th, as a demonstration of their anger with this Prime Minister.”
