Nigel Farage has been accused of “running the Tory frontbench” after Kemi Badenoch was slammed as “weak” for refusing to sack Nick Timothy over his controversial comments. This week, the Tory leader’s Shadow Justice Secretary stirred up a heated debate about whether mass prayer in public places should be allowed after claiming Friday’s open air iftar in Trafalgar Square to celebrate Eid was an “act of domination”.Mr Timothy said: “Perform these rituals in mosques if you wish. But they are not welcome in our public places and shared institutions.”I am not suggesting everybody at Trafalgar Square last night is an Islamist.
