Russia’s Ambassador to Israel Anatoly Viktorov confirmed that the Kremlin was involved, at the request of Israel and Iran, in efforts to reduce tensions last month. He noted that recent events “did not contribute to relations with Israel”, but added that “there is a solid foundation”.
