MAGA activist Erika Kirk, who is heading Turning Point USA following the fatal shooting of her husband, Charlie Kirk in 2025, will, according to the New York Post, be attending President Donald Trump’s 2026 State of the Union (SOTU) address as one of his guests. The address is set for this Tuesday night, February 24.The Post notes, “White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt retweeted a Daily Wire story about the invitation, including the quote: ‘The president will call on Congress to “firmly reject political violence against our fellow citizens” with Charlie Kirk’s widow in the chamber.'”Erika Kirk’s attendance at Trump’s SOTU is generating a lot of comments on X, formerly Twitter.The news drew positive reactions from some far-right MAGA Republicans, including Gunther Eagleman, who posted, “BREAKING: President Trump has OFFICIALLY invited Erika Kirk to the SOTU.
