Political observers and analysts were outraged on Saturday as it was reported that a Donald Trump appointee and “confidant” was “closely” connected to Jeffrey Epstein for years.CBS News reported on the Epstein files release earlier on Saturday in an article called, “Trump insider Tom Barrack kept in regular contact with Jeffrey Epstein for years, files show.” Barrack is also an administration ambassador to Turkey.”President Trump’s longtime confidant Thomas Barrack, now serving as U.S. ambassador to Turkey and special envoy to Syria, was in regular, close contact with Jeffrey Epstein for years after Epstein’s 2008 conviction for soliciting a minor, a CBS News analysis of over 100 texts and email exchanges from the newly released Justice Department documents shows,” according to CBS.This news outraged onlookers. The popular Rogue POTUS Staff account on X wrote, “Anyone who was well acquainted with Epstein, and who he would ask them for pictures of ‘you and child’ to put a smile on his own face, has no business being a US Ambassador.”The account added, “Tom Barrack must resign or be removed.”Another popular account followed by top political figures, KT “Special MI6 Operation,” wrote Saturday, “Whooops: Tom Barrack, the US Ambassador to Turkey is asked by Epstein to send photos of ‘child’ to make him smile.”Political writer Carla Marinucci noted, “FYI: Barrack was on the board at University of Southern California for nearly a decade.”Conservative commentator Bill Kristol quoted former GOP pollster Sarah Longwell, saying, “It really is, as Longwell said, the Epstein administration.”
