The Clairville in Wallasey has expanded with a new beer and £385,000 investment. The Wetherspoon pub on Wallasey Road, which originally opened in March 2004, has transformed its former car park into a 750-square-foot outdoor space for customers.
The newly created area at the rear of the building provides seating for up to 64 people. The redesigned garden is fully paved and enclosed by a brick perimeter with railings. It also features a timber pergola, festoon lighting and new outdoor furniture throughout.
Enhancements have also been made inside the pub, including upgraded drinks dispensing equipment and new glass racks behind the bar, along with added timber panelling and refreshed décor in the bar area.
Pub manager John Gilfoyle said: “The Clairville is an extremely popular community pub. We aim to offer customers the best pub possible – and the brand-new beer garden is a great addition. This investment highlights the company’s commitment to the pub and to Wallasey itself.”
