A man has been arrested after police raided a house. At 9.05am on Tuesday, February 24, a search warrant was carried out at an address on Tarbock Road in Speke.
Following the search, a large amount of cash, suspected cocaine, cannabis and other paraphernalia stored in items around the house, including a bottle of Geedom original spicy red chip salt, were seized. A 21-year-old man from Speke was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A drugs, supply of class B drugs, possession of class B drugs and possession of criminal property.
Merseyside Police said he has been released under investigation pending further enquiries. Detective Inspector Neil Dillon said: “This investigation remains ongoing. We will always respond when we receive information about suspected drug offences.
“We see first-hand the harm that drug supply and organised crime has on our communities. It can devastate the lives of vulnerable people, and lead to serious violent crime.
“If you know anything about the storage or supply of drugs where you are, come forward directly or anonymously and we will take positive action.”
