A question on Ant and Dec’s Limitless Win left the room stumped
A question on ITV’s Limitless Win left its players and hosts, Ant and Dec, confused over chocolate. The game show sees contestants take on a never-ending money ladder and answer a series of questions to win a whopping cash prize.
The answer to every question is a number, and every correct answer is the same as the number of players who climb on the money ladder. If they answer a single digit over the correct response, they are eliminated.
Brothers Alistair and Ashley joined forces to take home an unbelievable amount of money while honouring their late father’s wish telling them to audition.
The pair got off to a flying start, answering two questions exactly and banking 10 lives. However, when it came to a box of chocolates, they were left scratching their heads.
The question asked: “How many chocolate fingers are there in a standard 114g box of Cadbury Dairy Milk Fingers?”
The trivia stumped the brothers, as they couldn’t settle on a figure. After deciding to play it safe, they utilised their lifeline, recruiting the help of Ant and Dec to weigh in on the situation.
Ant and Dec switched sides and deliberated on the figure, eventually locking in double the original answer with 30.
The ladder rejected Ant and Dec’s answer as the poorer choice, leaving the players confident they were still in the game with 21 lives to play with.
The number of Cadbury chocolate fingers in a standard box was revealed as 32. Alistair and Ashley lost seven lives this round but shot up the ladder to the £50,000 mark.
The brothers weren’t willing to risk another round and decided to cash out, taking home a respectable £25,000 prize each.
