BORMIO, Italy, Feb 19 : Marianne Fatton of Switzerland won gold in the Olympic ski mountaineering women’s sprint on Thursday.
France’s Emily Harrop took the silver with Spain’s Ana Alonso Rodriguez in the bronze medal position.
Fatton’s victory was the first-ever Olympic gold in ski mountaineering, which is debuting at the Milano Cortina Games.
