Saudi Defense Minister, Qatari Emir discuss strengthening fraternal relations

DOHA — Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani met with Saudi Minister of Defense Prince Khalid bin Salman in Doha on Wednesday.During the meeting, they discussed the robust fraternal relations between the two countries and avenues for strengthening and advancing them. The latest regional developments and the ongoing efforts addressed toward them, alongside a range of issues of mutual concern were also figured in the talks. Prince Khalid bin Salman arrived in Doha on an official visit to Qatar in line with the directives of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman. At the outset of the meeting, Prince Khalid conveyed the greetings of King Salman and the Crown Prince to Sheikh Tamim, and their wishes of enduring health and happiness to the emir, and further progress and welfare to the people of Qatar.For his part, the Emir conveyed his greetings to King Salman and the Crown Prince, wishing them continued health and well-being, and continued progress and prosperity for the people of Saudi Arabia.Qatar’s Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani, a number of Qatari ministers, and members of the Saudi delegation accompanying the defense minister also attended the meeting.
