JEDDAH — Satisfaction rate for the services provided to the Hajj and Umrah pilgrims had surpassed 90 percent during the year 2025. The year also witnessed the inflow of over 19.5 million Hajj and Umrah pilgrims from abroad. These record-breaking indicators reflect the rapid development of the pilgrim service system within the objectives of Vision 2030, according to the National Center for Performance Management (Adaa). The Pilgrim Service Program – one of the programs for achieving the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 – stated that these significant increases encompassed both the Hajj and Umrah seasons. A satisfaction rate of 91 percent and 94 percent recorded among Hajj and Umrah pilgrims respectively demonstrate the quality of planning and operations, and the integrated efforts of more than 60 entities working harmoniously to provide comprehensive services to pilgrims throughout their journey. The season witnessed widespread community participation, with over 184,000 volunteers contributing to guidance, organization, and humanitarian services, embodying the spirit of giving and national partnership and reinforcing community values in serving the pilgrims. Efforts also extended to enriching the religious and cultural experience through the development of 18 historical sites related to the Prophet’s biography in Makkah and Madinah, deepening the spiritual impact and adding an intellectual and cultural dimension to the Hajj and Umrah journey. These achievements were the result of the integrated roles of government agencies, the private sector, and the non-profit sector, it was pointed out.
