Liverpool ‘s new £60 million signing Jeremy Jacquet has suffered a ‘serious’ shoulder injury with Rennes.
The 20-year-old landed awkwardly in the second half of Rennes’ 3-1 defeat away to Lens in Ligue 1 on Saturday night.
Jacquet clearly looked in pain as he was helped down the tunnel by a memeber of Rennes’ backroom staff.
‘For Jeremy, it’s his shoulder, and for Abdelhamid [Ait Boudlal] it’s muscular,’ Rennes head coach Habib Beye said in his post-match interview.
‘We’ll have time to see, but it’s definitely quite serious for both of them.’
