Dianne Buswell says ‘the time has come’ in pregnancy update

The Strictly Come Dancing star is preparing to give birth to her first child with Joe Sugg

Dianne Buswell said “the time has come” in an exciting pregnancy update. The Strictly Come Dancing professional dancer thrilled fans when she announced the news she was expecting her first child with her partner Joe Sugg. The couple have shared regular insights into their pregnancy journey and Dianne is now preparing her bag to take to hospital.

The Australian dancer shared a video to Instagram as she packed everything she will need, including nappies, new baby clothes and a maternity bra. She said she “couldn’t believe” the time has come to welcome their first child into the world.

In the video posted on Friday (February 20), Dianne said: “The time has come to pack my hospital bag. First things first and that is nappies.” She went on to talk about Pampers nappies as an advert in collaboration with the brand.

She also packed some baby grows and adorable newborn outfits ready for the arrival of their baby boy, including a nod to her home country of Australia with a new baby outfit with a koala on.

She said: “I think I may have overpacked in the clothing department for baby boy and maybe under packed for myself…but I couldn’t help it! I guess this is now motherhood.”

She finished off the video by saying: “I’m now officially packed so wish me luck.”

Fans rushed to the comments to send their love and support as Dianne prepares to give birth One said: “I can’t believe it already!! You got thisssss xxx.”

Another follower said: “She’s baby ready!” A third called Emma said: “Omgggg. Baby boy will be here so soon.” A fourth named Lynne added: “Wishing you every happiness.”

Dianne’s Strictly Come Dancing co-star Vito Coppola also took to the comments to send a supportive message.

The Italian dancer said: “Oh yesssssss you are ready and we are all ready too gorjiiiii. Cannot waaaaaaait.”

Dianne announced she was expecting a baby in a post on Instagram last September. Dianne and Joe shared a reel, captioned: “Our little baby boy [loveheart emoji] we cannot wait to meet you.”

In the playful video, the couple were seen painting three stick figures with “2026” at the top of the drawing to Elton John’s Tiny Dancer.

The star met the YouTuber when they were partnered together back in 2018 for the popular BBC dancing show, and their relationship has since gone from strength to strength.

Dianne was partnered with Neighbours actor Stefan Dennis on this year’s series of Strictly Come Dancing. But the couple were forced to end their time on the show early when Stefan developed an injury.
