Analyst sounds the alarm after Trump ally attends Georgia raid: ‘As serious as it gets’

A political analyst sounded the alarm on Sunday after reports that Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard attended an FBI raid of a Georgia elections office last week. Last Thursday, President Donald Trump’s FBI raided the Fulton County voting offices in search of evidence that Trump won the 2020 general election. Trump has repeatedly claimed he won Georgia in 2020, despite several federal judges throwing out his team’s lawsuits contesting the results. Trump also called Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger and demanded that he find more than 11,000 votes for Trump to win. Jennifer Welch, who hosts the podcast “I’ve Had It,” discussed the implications of Gabbard’s appearance at the raid during a new episode of “The Daily Beast Podcast” with Joana Coles on Sunday. “I think it’s as serious as it gets,” Welch said. She described Gabbard as one of the many “immoral freaks that will manufacture evidence” to help prove Trump’s zany conspiracies right. “He is dying to tell everybody, ‘They cheated. I won 2020,'” Welch said. “He’s dying to say that, and they will cook the books.”Welch also warned that the raid could make it more difficult to hold the Trump administration accountable for its actions in Georgia. “If there’s any claim in the future, the evidence is now in the hands of his corrupt DOJ at the oversight of Tulsi Gabbard, who it’s widely rumored is a Russian asset,” Welch said.
