An 80-year-old former lottery winner has been sentenced to 16 years in prison for running a massive counterfeit drug operation from his countryside cottage. The sophisticated enterprise, which produced millions of dangerous diazepam tablets, was funded in part by his £2.4 million lottery winnings. His son also received a nine-year sentence for his involvement in the illicit business.
