‘Is he sober?’ MAGA influencer’s cringy party video roasted by conservatives

Bulwark Podcaster Tim Miller and “False Flag” Newsletter writer Will Sommer joined forces to tear down a recent video showing MAGA influencers Andrew and Tristan Tate, Nick Fuentes, Braden Peters (known as “Clavicular”), Myron Gaines (real name Amrou Fudl), Justin Waller and Nicolas Kenn De Balinthazy (known as “Sneako”) posting a group club visit in Florida’s South Beach.“The boys went out on the town. I mean, it’s the ‘Hangover 4’ — these are the leading lights of the Manosphere, the man children, they got together.” said Miller, playing footage of the group on a bus, singing along to Kanye’s “Heil Hitler”.“They’re not really going for subtlety here,” Miller pointed out. “You can see, I think that’s Gaines, who we’re supposed to be admiring, just doing the full Nazi salute over and over again while they’re videoing themselves. Nick Fuentes is in the back looking a little uncomfortable and chuckling.”Later the group took a table at a club, Vendôme. “And they’re playing Kanye’s ‘Heil Hitler’ song again at the club. We see some more saluting, some partying, Clavicular’s live streaming. Sneako seems like he’s really partying. “Isn’t he Muslim?” quipped Sommer.“If he’s a Muslim, is he sober? I don’t know if he’s following all the rules there,” Miller said.Once in the club, Miller pointed out the scene where Clavicular approached Fuentes saying, “’hey, there’s some girls that want to come hang with us,’ and Fuentes standing in the back in kind of his dad’s suit being like, ‘I’m good. I’m good,’” “You know what? At one point, I was a closeted man who had handsome friends who tried to introduce me to girls, and I didn’t want to either. But, you know, eventually you grow out of that. And I think that there are … I think that’s an important growth step in life. And for me, I think it gave me a lot of … I think it changed me for the better. We’ll just say that. I didn’t have all this baggage of hiding in the closet. And maybe Nick just needs that for himself. But the people online, I’ll just say: ‘notice this.’Sommer, watching the same video, said there was a time in his youth when he would’ve watched Fuentes’ behavior and declared “wow, that guy’s a real gentleman. You know, I could learn from that,” before realizing the truth.Miller called the sheer diversity of the Hilter-favoring MAGA group a triumph of American inclusion.“If you’re Hitler, you’ve got to be wanting to commit suicide again right now to know that these are your heirs,” Miller said. “You have the Muslim, Sneako. Is Myron Gaines also Muslim? I don’t know. He’s African. The Tates — what are they? I think their dad was Black. … You’ve got Nick Fuentes, who is a Hispanic. This is not really a representation of white power. … Could we spin it as a victory for liberalism? Only in a liberal society could we raise a group of closeted gay, Muslim, mixed race boys to decide that they want to adopt the ideology of Hitler and feel comfortable doing it in a free society.”After the video went live, Sommer pointed out that the club, Vendôme, released a statement calling the video content and imagery “deeply offensive and unacceptable,” and claiming “Vendôme and our hospitality group do not condone anti-Semitism, hate speech, or prejudice of any kind.”“They fired a couple people over it,” said Sommer. “So I think that, yeah, when you have the guy with the live streaming camera say, ‘hey, can you play the Heil Hitler song?’ I think obviously some mistakes were made.”Miller said it was important to “watch and talk about and share and mock all this” because “These people are not just influential with teen boys. They’re influential with people working in the government. … Like, the people that are in this party bus doing ‘Heil Hitler,’ these man boys, they have followers at the highest levels of the government. And when I say the highest levels of the government, I mean, J.D. Vance, the vice president, follows some of them on social media. He follows Andrew Tate.”Watch the Bulwark takedown at this link.
