Over £50,000 and class A and B drugs were found inside a house and a campervan in Bootle. At around 8am on Tuesday, January 20, Merseyside Police executed a warrant at a house in Bootle.
Officers searched the property and found a block of suspected cocaine, cannabis and two locked suitcases which contained several high‑value watches, a large amount of cannabis and an estimated £55,000 in cash. Police also seized a camper van in the area where a further eight kilograms of vacuum‑packed cannabis were found in the rear of the vehicle.
Brian Bennett, 39, of Hawthorne Road in Bootle, Paul Swale, 35, of no fixed abode and Lee Hugh Williams, 51, of Priory Street in Bootle were arrested and charged with possession with intent to supply a class A and B drug, handling stolen goods, possession of criminal property and possession of a weapon for the discharge of a noxious liquid.
They have been remanded into custody and will appear at Liverpool Crown Court.
