Comedian and actor Russell Brand is set to appear in court charged with two further sexual offences, including rape.
Brand, 50, was charged with one count of rape and one count of sexual assault in relation to two more women in December.
He is due for his first court appearance in relation to the fresh charges at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday afternoon, January 20.
The alleged offences took place in 2009, the Crown Prosecution Service said.
The TV and movie star, 50, previously pleaded not guilty to five charges including two counts of rape, two counts of sexual assault and one count of indecent assault in relation to alleged offences between 1999 and 2005, involving four women. He denied the charges at Southwark Crown Court in London earlier this year.
