Countries threatened by Donald Trump’s tariffs for not backing the US President on Greenland have issued a statement.The joint statement by Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden and the UK said: “We stand in full solidarity with the Kingdom of Denmark and the people of Greenland.”Tariff threats undermine transatlantic relations and risk a dangerous downward spiral.
