The gunman charged with killing Japan’s former prime minister Shinzo Abe was found guilty and sentenced to life in prison on Wednesday, more than three years after the brazen daylight assassination shocked the country. Judge Shinichi Tanaka handed down the ruling at a court in the city of Nara.
