‘My husband’s friend’: Erika Kirk endorses JD Vance for president in 2028, ends speculations

Erika Kirk has put an end to all speculations and announced that Turning Point USA will endorse Vice President JD Vance as the president in 2028. The speculations were about what was going on between Erika Kirk and JD Vance — as Erika recently skirted a question on endorsing JD Vance and beat around the bush.

This was seen as a frost between Erika and JD Vance and far-right commentator Nick Fuentes claimed that after JD Vance came under pressure of the Israeli lobby, Erika distanced herself from JD. But at the TPUSA conference in Arizona, Erika Kirk said: “We are going to get my husband’s friend JD Vance elected for 48 in the most resounding way possible.” This was the biggest TPUSA conference after Charlie Kirk’s death.

The endorsement comes as the path for JD for the top job clears up.

Secretary of State Marco Rubio, seen as a contender for GOP nomination, said he won’t be seeking a nomination if JD wants to contest; in that case, Marco Rubio said he would support JD. “If JD Vance runs for president, he’s going to be our nominee, and I’ll be one of the first people to support him,” Rubio told Vanity Fair’s Chris Whipple.JD Vance has not officially confirmed whether he will run in 2028. JD Vance and Erika Kirk’s warm hug at a TPUSA event raised eyebrows, and many speculated that Erika Kirk was eyeing to be the First Lady if JD Vance becomes the president. JD Vance dismissed rumors of any marital discord with Usha Vance, while Erika Kirk said JD Vance is a dear friend. But then, in an interview, Erika Kirk was evasive on a question on whether she would endorse JD as the presidential candidate. Nick Fuentes said after Tucker Carlson gave a platform to him, JD Vance came under Israeli pressure as Tucker Carlson’s son works for JD.
