Russian President Vladimir Putin meets with US special envoy Steve Witkoff and US President Donald Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner at the Kremlin on Tuesday for talks on the war in Ukraine. Speaking ahead of the bilateral meeting, President Volodymyr Zelensky called for negotiations to be “fair and open, so that there are no games behind Ukraine’s back”.
