The first urban cable car in Greater Paris was unveiled on 13 December. The total journey will take 18 minutes compared to around 40 minutes by bus or car, connecting the isolated neighbourhoods to the Paris metro’s line 8. It is the longest urban cable car in Europe, 4.5 kilometres with five stations, according to Arnaud Crolais, technical director at IDF Mobilités.
