A seemingly light-hearted moment at a Coldplay concert turned into an international scandal after a surprise appearance on the venue’s big screen revealed a potential workplace affair involving the married CEO of a U.S.-based artificial intelligence startup. According to the New York Post and other U.S. outlets Thursday, the incident occurred the day before at a Coldplay concert in Boston, Massachusetts. The two individuals at the center of the controversy were identified as Andy Byron, CEO of AI startup Astronomer, and Kristin Cabot, the company’s chief people officer. The moment went viral after the couple appeared on the arena’s jumbotron as part of a “kiss cam” event. In the footage, the man was seen giving the woman a back hug, prompting the production team to display their image on the big screen. Rather than embrace the moment, however, the two reacted with alarm.
