U.S. President Donald Trump said Monday that Israel and Iran had agreed to a “complete and total” cease-fire that could lead to a permanent peace between the Middle East foes after more than a week of aerial attacks on each other.
Trump said on social media that the cease-fire will be phased in during the next 24 hours, but Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said there was currently no such agreement with Israel.
