Critics of President Donald Trump often accuse his supporters of behaving in a cult-like fashion. And two recent examples are being highlighted by Media Matters’ Matt Gertz and former Rep. Joe Walsh (R-Illinois), a Never Trump conservative.Trump, on occasion, has accused Fox News and Fox Business of not being sufficiently supportive of him. And Fox News’ competitor, Newsmax, prides itself on being to the right of Fox News and even more pro-Trump. But in reality, Fox News’ and Fox Business are extremely pro-Trump. Most modern Cabinet meetings are more performance than debate or discussion, but this is some North Korea-style clapping and weeping for Dear Leader humiliation for all involved.”According to Walsh and journalist Aaron Ruper, U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi was among the Cabinet members who exhibited cult-like behavior.Rupar tweeted, “Pam Bondi brazenly lies, tells Trump that he was ‘overwhelmingly elected by the biggest majority’ and says ‘you have the authority to determine how the money of this country will be spent.'”Wash, responding to Rupar’s tweeted, post, “This is so f—— gross.
