The woman was taken to hospital following the shocking attack
Merseyside Police are searching for a man after a woman was brutally attacked in the street. At around 11.15am on Monday, March 31, police responded to reports that a man was assaulting a woman in the street on Harbreck Grove.
The woman sustained a head injury and swelling to the face and was taken to hospital for treatment following the attack. Merseyside Police said detectives are investigating a domestic-related assault and enquiries are ongoing to locate the suspect.
Ring doorbell footage taken on Harbreck Grove, Walton, which the ECHO has chosen not to share, shows an altercation between a man and woman. In the video, a man appears to hit a woman in the face with an unknown object before punching her several times.
The woman in the video then appears to fall to the floor before the man kicks her repeatedly. He then disappears from view.
