UK bank holidays will be coming up in the coming weeks and many people use this as an opportunity to take a short break away from everyday life by jetting off on a trip abroad. In the next two months, Brits will enjoy four bank holiday dates with the first being on April 18.

Another opportunity to enjoy time away with family and friends is half term. Schools in England, Scotland, and Wales will soon be breaking up for the Easter holiday. With holiday season upon us, airports will be rolling out their popular summer routes as people plan their getaways.

Liverpool John Lennon Airport has re-introduced a number of their flights to its regular programme. Announcing the returning routes on X last week, the Speke airport welcomed the return of flights to Rome, Milan, Bodrum, Corfu, Mallorca and Nice.
