With the final just around the corner, the CBB stars each received a letter from home. But it was JoJo Siwa’s conversation with Big Brother which took fans by surprise. She made her way to the Diary Room where she was asked: “JoJo what’s the weirdest thing you’ve ever had delivered?”
She responded: “A bomb.” The Dance Moms star explained she was faced with a stalker who sent her a bomb in the post when she was just 13 years old.
Fans rushed to social media after JoJo opened up about her shocking experience. One said: “That’s mental that JoJo had a stalker at 13 and he sent her a bomb!”
More added to the conversation on X: “Jojo being sent a bomb at 13 years old omfg?!?!? Jojo Siwa for everything she’s been through and she’s still singing” and “Big Brother wasn’t expecting JoJo to say she’s been sent a bomb.”
Later in the episode, each celebrity received a message from home. Danny Beard read out Chesney’s letter, followed by Chris who read JoJo’s note from her mum.
Her mum wrote: “I’m happy you’re making such good friends.” The letter continued: “The most important thing to tell you is a message from Kath because I know you really miss them the most. Kath’s keen to see you when you get out.’
JoJo later opened up to Jack P Shepherd: “I honestly like, I’m finding myself really analysing that note and I don’t like it.” The Coronation Street star questioned if she was trying to find a “hidden message” within the letter.
Meanwhile, Chris made his way to the Diary Room after reading the note aloud. He told Big Brother: “I nearly started crying before I said anything, just where it said, ‘Dear JoJo’.
“And it was nice, her partner’s in there, her mum’s in there.” He continued: “Two very important people. It was an honour; it was an honour to read out her letter.”
Later in the episode, JoJo returned the favour as she read out Chris’ letter from his mum. She mentioned his relationship with JoJo, which has been a popular topic of conversation following recent scenes which showed the celebrities growing closer.
Chris and JoJo developed a close bond, giving each other massages and even cuddling in bed. In a recent interview on This Morning, Daley Thompson claimed the pair were reality TV show “professionals.”
He said: “They’re the professionals within the group which is why they do all the strange things.” When asked whether their connection was genuine, he said: “I don’t know if it’s genuine – I think it works for both of them.” Their relationship was described as purely platonic, as Daley said: “Their energies genuinely match.”
Also in Thursday’s episode of Celebrity Big Brother, JoJo revealed she had tried to distract herself from missing “sweet Kath.” She said: “I said goodbye to them at the airport and it was a really hard goodbye. And then they were the last person I talked to before I gave up my phone for the Big Brother house. God, I love that little sucker. I do.
“I do have beef to pick with them though, they didn’t even say in the note that they love me. I will not let them live that down. I will say, ‘where was my ‘hi sweetheart’, where was my ‘I love you’ where was my ‘I miss you’?’.
“Like happy you’re keen to see me when I get out of here, keen to see you as well, but come on baba, give me a little something something.”
