The road was closed while the scene was cleared
A road was closed to traffic this evening after a car collided with another vehicle and ploughed through a brick wall. Merseyside Police were called to the junction of Fylde Road and Garstang Road in Southport at around 6.20pm on Wednesday, April 2.
Photos taken at the scene show a grey car with a crumpled bonnet surrounded by a heap of bricks. Also pictured is a grey mini with its driver’s side badly dented and the side window smashed.
Any injuries are unknown at this stage, but Merseyside Police has been approached for comment. The road has since reopened.
