If they are conducting these negotiations with the EU at all, they are doing it by stealth.”He questioned the practicality of the proposed scheme, asking: “How would this idea of one in, one out work? You can imagine a socialist spin doctor coming up with it.””Will it be like a nightclub? Are we really saying the best thing for that is to open the floodgates and allow people to come in from Europe?”He concluded with a stark assessment: “I wouldn’t trust this government as far as I could throw them on anything as it relates to Europe.”
